hey gang, Well what happened was a few things and I was mad so I did not want to just go off.. what all went on and keep in mind where I am comming from; I had been out on the road training for 36 day's not been home once, ok I was up at 5am waiting for a ride from Green Bay to Indy. with a driver got in the truck with them 13 hours later I make it to Indy to get my truck, at 2:30 am to relay a load to my home area ( it had to be droped at mid ) so it was 2 and a half hours late already , I had to do a PTI on a new trcuk which was about 45 min.s and I found it not to be ready(keep in mind I'm new) there was some lights on on the dash that gave me concern and Fuel gauge did not work. so I made the choice not to go.. I got a ride home 3 hour wait and drive back.
Now , Yes I should have waited for the shop to open and get it fixed my misstake
Now my thoughts, I am new , they know that, they had time to get the truck ready, they knew I was getting a ride from there driver, and it was a friday night 3 differnt shift's and a weekend crew, the terminal was closed and I was the only one there, my qualcom #3 did not work or the arrow down button. so, trying to keep my cool. I wanted to go home and sleep..

I just feel I was left out and forgot. I mean come on . you know I would have question's or concerns

I think you should not get a truck and a load , (for the first time student) at night or on the weekend.... It should only be monday through thursday 7 am till 4 pm. I'm just saying

hahahha, so I am still waiting to hear when the truck will be ready, it is in the shop as of 9 am today..

Oh I'm sure I did make my D.M. mad but, it was not his faul nor mine, it was all of the 37 hour event...

    I'll keep ya updated:biggrin_25514:

Tonka, I drive for GTI, they want 100% legal. Please review FAQ for hours of servive. How did you log your trip to Indy? If you sat in the jumpseat you were on duty not driving, how much of your 14 was left? GTI does want you to log legal. Good Luck and stay safe.

Sweet! Good Luck. How long you plan on staying out for at a time? Does Gordon offer regional work in the Ohio area? Something a person could get home weekends on.

I'm going to stay out about 14 day's at a time to start then go 3 weeks at a time later on, lot's of loads in ohio, and the midwest. I am not sure about the home every weekend, chances are you may not get many miles, but they are setting up accounts out of Indy, that seem like they will be dedicated runs ( don't hold me to that ) not for sure
