    Hi,
Does anyone know or can recommend companies in the Decatur/ Huntsville area that run VAC tanks for Bulk Plastics?
My current company lost their contract and they have NOTHING going on right now and I'm not independently wealthy, Sooo, I need to look for another company.

Any leads would be appreciated! PM me for questions or ,,,,

Ya might try Quantix (formerly A&R) as I think they haul plastics.
I’m sure at Tidewater Transit and we do some dry bulk hauling as well (pellets and powder). However, we recently lost some of our pellet loads running out of a plant in Decatur.
Terminals for both are on Hwy 20, west side of Decatur.

    Hmmm, That's odd!
Yeah I know we're both of those terminals are. Drive past them every day going from Muscle Shoals over to Chattanooga and back.
Plus I used to go over to Indorama on Finley Island road there just past the Jack's on the corner of 72.
If you're slowing down I wonder if this is just a temporary thing where they're trying to get better rates???
I've noticed a lot fewer VAC tanks out and about.
    Hmmm???
    Thanks!

I'm not really sure. Probably something I should look into though.
    Thanks!

The loads we lost were just given to another carrier. Not really sure why; the boss said today that he’s not even really sure why. We still do several other loads of chemicals out of the same plant.
