Question; Several of us that live in or near the DFW area have suggested great jobs in this area. Why in the $&@! would you take a job with another mega a third of the way across the country? If you were a rookie I would understand, but you’re obviously not. Good luck to ya but this is another head scratcher.

I prefer the grey man approach, out of site out of mind quietly put my time in and go home.
I just had my 9 year anniversary, was asked its seriously been that long, we barely hear 2 words from you..... had to bite my tongue wanted to say y'all are AHoles and the less I have to speak with you the better.
Flat Earth Trucker, gentleroger, Lonesome and 8 others Thank this. -
Jus sayin
Sometimes it's hard to take advice.
But sometimes it's a good thing to do.
And sometimes it's aggravating to see a friend make the same mistake.
Good luck, UTG.Lonesome, bryan21384, BennysPennys and 2 others Thank this. -
Never could pull that off. Guess I look questionable.BennysPennys Thanks this.

My dispatch wants phone calls, as accounts are closely monitored. I finally got them to accept e-mails through PeopleNet, by telling them anyone in the entire company can see my communications and it’s permanently saved on their end, using the system. The reality is, I simply don’t want to talk to them.Magoo1968, Gearjammin' Penguin, JoeyJunk and 8 others Thank this.

Advice is what I asked for from you guys and I appreciate all of it. The wonderful jobs in dfw either want me to drive lanes I am no longer willing to drive, don't pay enough, my little town is just far enough off the beaten path they won't hire me from there, or because I've had 4 employers in 3 years won't talk to me.
I'm freaking stressed enough that I HAD TO LEAVE WFX CUZ THEY SCREW WITH MY MONEY (shouting hysterically) because I like the doggone job and wanted to stay but can't pay the bills with love.
Also...who here thinks I'm overjoyed at even having to start from below zero in my 70s?
This has been a hard and painful journey for me so thanks for your last words of. Good luck. Screwed the pooch again we see.
Fiedunchues, Numb, austinmike and 10 others Thank this. -
There's a whole lot of options that don't involve driving that you may not have considered.
Step back and take a breath.austinmike, Lonesome, BennysPennys and 1 other person Thank this. -
Collect SS and work at McDonald’s?
BennysPennys Thanks this. -
My wife gets SS. $2,000 a month. My dad lived in a old people's government apartment before he died, $250 a month. As far as debt goes, you could BK, and wash it all away. UTG is old school like me, so she probably feels like she's 'mortally obligated' to that debt........she's not. The banks take the risk when they loan money, it's part of the business plan.
Sometimes you need to step back and reconsider what you might have dismissed.
Girlfriend is like 70. That's too old for this crap.
UTG, I apologize on the front end if I said anything to insult you. I'm just trying to help and maybe give you something to consider. I wish you the best.dunchues, austinmike, 88 Alpha and 7 others Thank this.
