I spoke with a cdl school in that area, and they said they've had students hired by them right out of school.
Not my cup of tea though: multi-stop reefer loads. -
I know nothing about this company other than seeing them on the road. Fort Worth Contract Carriers might fit what you’re looking for. I have no idea about pay or any of that.

Those Estes linehaul jobs are LTL trucking. Most Estes linehaul drivers drive trucks with automatic transmissions. The drawback of the job is that it is all night drivinginsipidtoast Thanks this.

Late to the party as usual but Siedhoff will take you with a CDL permit, and teach you how to drive. They have a training program. I’m not sure what the pay rate is while training, but I know they do not operate as a “team” when training. The trainer is in the jump seat the whole time.Chinatown Thanks this.

Nice to know that Estes runs an automatic fleet. I called odfl the other day and was surprised to learn that the vast majority of their fleet is manual transmission. Personally can't be bothered with that.
