Back to Johnson City today…with the same load I had Friday. Due to high winds the other day, they shut the crane down. Apparently there’s no place to drop down there so I was told to bring it back and re deliver today 671DB354-E635-4E67-B281-A993A90CCFF8.jpeg

Maybe next time I'll have a better route plan though. Took 3 hours to go from Barstow 2 Hesperia and then from there is pictured below... I'd highly recommend anyone going to S. California from say Kingman drop down us 95 over to the 10. Construction up around Hesperia has 15 south going into 1 lane. It's a nightmare no doubt. It looked like this all weekend on Google maps so apparently this is an everyday deal. Ended up being 4 hours 10 minutes for 76 miles.

I really did not want to do this load but I did always say I wanted something different. Been doing flatbed few weeks now and before did dry van TX to CA every week for years. It’s amazing how comfortable you get. Now this load is 4 stops in Wyoming and Idaho picked up in Laredo. PS those pocket winches are awesome I wish I had more than 1.

Just got back from there, dropped off 4 more that were kinda local, Nebraska and Iowa, Gwinner has a ton of loads right now, with the snow last week and parts coming in they should be filling up the parking lot here again, unfortunately

Oh I did the weather is a mess. I deliver first ones in Rawlins WY tomorrow and right now there is a bunch of accidents and some of I-80 is closed. Says 70mph wind gusts. Supposed to snow tomorrow so it’s not going to be a good time.
