I assume you mean the mirror temp? Some Pete's have an inside temp gauge.

I remember doing it and it was in my owner's manual in the glovebox. Other than that Alzheimer's is kicking in. :)

Looking on the web I found a couple different methods.

Let us know if either worked. The covering the numbers one jingles a few brain cells.

Should be a little button on the face plate. Use a pen point to push it in.

The outside temp sensor is in the left hand mirror as others have already said. They used to sell a replacement sensor, part # H16702AT. You have to drill the rivets out and remove the lower cover and the sensor comes with new ones, it's about $40. You can still find them at some dealers and on the internet, but it was discontinued. The new replacement is a new mirror harness with the sensor built into the harness. A little more expensive and harder to replace.

FYI, when you change (or unplug) the sensor, the temp on the dash will got to all dashes, then to a ridiculous temp when you plug it back in. This is normal, it will very slowly creep to the correct temp, but it takes about 5 min, so don't get worried.

My company truck is programmed to only allow the engine to idle when the outside temp is over a certain amount.

Will unplugging the sensor inside my mirror force my computer to let my engine idle at all temperatures?

On newer models it's a 1/2" plastic nipple pointing downward, bottom of driver's mirror.

Where would this be located on a ‘11 367 with the old school mirrors?

Grey mirror harness driver side. It’s molded into the harness. Whole mirror or sometimes you can order just the harness.
