Can a trucking company let you go due to height?

    I'm 5 ft 2in. If you can see out and touch the pedals there is no reason you cannot drive. I recently retired after 28 years.

    26 and a hard worker? You can takeover the world. Most 26 y.o. wouldn't run out of a burning building, let alone show up for work on-time 2 days in a row.

    The company’s insurance company has the last word on the ticket. Even if it was acceptable to the employer, it may not have been with the insurance company..

    Letting you go because of your height doesn’t make any sense.. If you weren’t physically strong enough to do the job (struggling to drag the pallets) then maybe they linked your strength to your height.

    Best of luck finding your next job..

    That ticket will probably close a lot of doors but don’t give up.
