Where is everyone #5

I was walking by some guys removing the blade from a 650 this evening. I jumped in and helped only to find out it’s going to Kornfield Kounty lol…..

 

I had to do a double take it looked like that ring was floating on the car Lol

 

Guess I’ll check my eyelids for holes now. Been out talking to other drivers who been driving 30+ years.

Guy we helped with the blade I could hardly understand him, his English wasn’t the best. But he was very appreciative that someone took the time to help him.

Takes me back to times before these cell phones when we gathered and conversed with one another, instead of setting in the truck like a whistle pig in his hole…..

Looks like coils from Logan Aluminum out of Russellville, KY. Jaro is a major carrier for them.

Usually three straps per coil, one straight across, the other two as a X over the top. Skid/friction mats under the skids. They have a straps only policy. 2 4X4’s in front for a trip. The skids they used to put them on are carp. Was sort of useless to try and trip them. They may use better ones now, been a long time.

 

Decided it'd be better to roll in there at legal width huh..? Lol

Oh I forgot to tell ya, the final mile directions going in there were perfect. I really appreciate everything..

 

Well, I don't know anything, I don't have an opinion, and I dam sure don't have any advice. About the only thing I have of any importance to me is that today I celebrate 50 years with the same woman. I could have killed her a couple of times along the way, and she could have killed me 31 times along the way, and all killings would have been ruled justifiable homicide. She certainly could have done better, but I'm glad she didn't.

That's a feat of accomplishment not many have the privilege to claim..

2003, my grandparents on moms side celebrated their 50th with a surprise party my folks threw for them. That was almost 20yrs ago, and lots of memories are a blurred, but certainly remember that one.

Hope you & the Misses have a memorable anniversary also..
