    No.

The only way you can lose your run here is if it either gets cut or you bid on another and get it.

The union folks are real funny about who does what and when. Kinda cool if you understand the program.

I don’t think I could last in a union environment. I have way too little patience for politics and favoritism, along with the selling out of one’s integrity that’s associated with the aforementioned distasteful behavior.

Favoritism doesn’t generally exist with union work, that is the whole point of seniority. Seniority prevails even when you think you are a better employee than the guy with more seniority than you.

All done shopping needed new cloths for work, now that it's on me for work cloths. For the past 8 years I just mindlessly bought whatever uniforms the company had available with whatever uniform money that I was given by the company. Pants, shirts, jackets whatever it was all in the company uniform store and I just picked out whatever I wanted for that year with the $300 bucks or so I think it was a little less then that, but close enough that I got for uniform allowance for the year and that was that.

Well now it's a brave new world and I needed to do my own uniforming kind of, so I created my own out of components that I had from work that I found work good. For instance I am keeping the pants I had to find a source for them and I did USA Work Uniforms had the pants I wanted which are Dickies Flex LP72BK (Black in Color) Basically Dickies Cargo Pants, but I'm kind of funny about pants like Carhart there pants are expensive and do not fit me well but the Dickies pants that I have now that I used to buy through work, have always worked well for me and I like them so I bought 4 pairs which will last a long time.

Then I had to figure out a winter uniform, so usually during the winter I wear a mock turtle neck and a pullover wind breaker which wind shirts/wind breakers are kind of out of style now and I don't know why they were pretty popular 15-20 years ago, but not as popular anymore, but I like them that's always been a good uniform in the fall and cooler weather keeps me warm and dry, but not to warm and it's comfortable inside and out and I don't have a bulky jacket that I have to take on and off. So after searching all day I bought 2 Alpine Green long sleeve windbreakers which match the companies trucks in color and I'll wear those with I think a white or navy blue mock turtle neck shirt and my black cargo pants and that I think will be very comfortable and professional looking.

Then also I have 2 black wind breakers long sleeve that I'll wear with a black or white mock turtle neck shirt and obviously black work pants and that'll be my other winter cloths.

Summer my black pants and I bought 2 black Dickies button up short sleeve work shirts and I'll see how I like them, but I think it will look good. The company does have a company store/shop I could always buy something from there if I wanted to, but for now this is plenty good.

It does if you have some idiot who does things like flat spotting trailer tires clear down to the rims but for whatever reason like being friends outside of work with the right supervisor gets protected while anybody else would be out the door. That way the wrong people wind up accumulating it.

Yeah boys I should be going from a 2000 cut time running 496 miles a night to 2030 cut time running 422 miles a night. I look forward to getting back home earlier but I miss my previous meet guy so much. Cut time is 2000 and I'm at the terminal every day at 1800 like clockwork. We used to leave way early and be back home by 0300. This meet guy here... Left today at 1918 and got to the meet at 0047.

Keep in mind with the old meet guy we were running so hard we never did a 30 minutes break. I waited on this guy today for 2 hours I was there so early. Got bumped off tho so who knows what's next. I'm not happy about that 13K pay cut.

Union or non union excellent, hardworking employees are better than lazy incompetent employees but we both know not everyone is as good as you and I and all the hard workers on this forum.
