I spent $130k on truck, trailer and equipment and sold it for all for $80k. After all expenses I had $65k left if the checking account so over all I came out $15k ahead. I operated in the black averaging $13k pretax profit per month. I put 57,000 miles on the truck in 5 months so about $1.15 net profit per mile.
Seems like a ton of hassle and expense you went to just to throw it all away a year later, but if you prefer flying airplanes and can make a living doing that, fine. Do what blows your hair back and gets you revved up in the morning.
