Maybe so but I need help not people thinking its a joke. Like this is people's lives and I thought by being part of the truckers world especially seasoned drivers would give me advice. But instead I get a lot of old men who has nothing else better to do then attack and show their behinds. Smh

My advice would be to file with the state labor board, small claims court and anybody else you can think of that's free. Class action takes lawyers and money, both of which you don't have.
But honestly, you probably don't have a prayer. Company more than likely wrote the contract so as to be judgement proof.
Write it off as an expensive education and move on. -
Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

When you file your suit, providing you can find an attorney willing to represent you, you're going to learn another lesson about the way things work.
The attorney for the other side will file endless motions to delay, change the terms of the suit, request depositions, and just generally slow the pace down to a crawl. That's his job and if he's been defending sleeze-ball employers he's probably good at it.
If you can afford to pay hourly for an attorney you might have a chance to reach an out of court settlement. Even if your attorney takes the case on contingency be very careful about what he has you sign. He'll probably want you to pay his costs and a reasonable return for his time. If he smells a big payoff he'll work hard on it. If it looks bleak he'll either reject you as a client or just churn some paperwork to make it look like he's really working.
Your chance of ever getting any meaningful amount of money from your former employer is very small.
@Oor said it right. Write this one off, mark it down to lessons learned , and get on with your life. If there was an upside to all of this I'd be glad to share it with you but I don't see any.TB John, rockeee, Crude Truckin' and 2 others Thank this. -
Fact of the matter, you got screwed and you will never get your money.
You weren't the first and you won't be the last.
Take your lumps and drive on.
Welcome to life.TB John and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
