Can result in a blown tire. I can't make this stuff up. Every week since the first of the year something crazy has happen.
Yes it a company trailer so no I don't have to pay.
But it was on a just in time load. And the TA can't get to it until "Tommrow Am"...
And loves is several hours backed up

    JIT?

I would have called road service and had them fix it right away.

How heavy are you on the trailer axles? Is it an inside or an outside tire? And do you have any tools to possibly single it out yourself if the load is not heavy and it is an outside tire.

The loves guy came and fixed it. Total weight is 14k. Presealed so no idea how it's stacked.i do carry tools but nothing that would help that...

What would cause the tie to blow in the center. Not the side wall but in the center of the tread. The tread was legal. But honestly not by much.

I once had a JIT load to an auto
Assembly plant and blew a tire about 50
Miles out , and slowed down from 70 to 60 , aboit 10 miles out I blew another tire , on a different axle so I slowed down to 50, about five miles out another tire blew , so
I slowed down to 40 for the remainder of the trip.

i got it there on time to prevent the assembly plant from shutting down from lack of parts ,
Drug that trailer in with three flat tires , none of the
Flats were next to each other , but even if they were , with only a couple
Miles to go, I’d have lumbered on in there .

I used a couple long wrenches, vice grips, and pb blaster, it was a fight but I got er off there. On sisters wedding day, no less.

Right past DOT never said anything. Tire shop fix it up at the farm.

You did good. I got one off once using my 1/4” due grinder with a cutting wheels. About 8 cutting wheels Lol. The cords at the bead were tough. It took a good 4 hrs. maybe longer. First and last time hopefully.

Tires blow out, it's just part of life.

In January I got 6 tires swapped out on the trailer In Joplin. Just past Springfield one of them blew.

Running over stuff. Hitting stuff. There has been lots of threads on the topic of why a simple curb should not be hit with a trailer tire while turning and tons of guys say “meh. Just hit it. Won’t hurt nothing. Just a trailer tire”. Those same folks either have lots of bad luck with tires or the next guy who pulls that trailer does.
Funny thing is those same folks will cuss out a brand name tire for being junk or blame it on a retread every time.
