    @Chinatown,

    you mentioned a few more companies that I do not remember. You mentioned one tanker company that has a terminal in Lakeland I believe and one refrigerated company that has a terminal in Orlando. You mentioned it in the guy from Houston Texas also.

    Applied to Wel Companies, Classic Carriers. Spoke to Eagle and Heniff.

    Heniff only hires from the school in South Carolina for its subsidiary called Carry Transit.

    Eagle has some local openings in Florida, but isn’t what I want, which is OTR.

    Wel has opened up hiring in Florida, but you must live within 90 miles of the Winterhaven terminal.

    Classic Carriers is hiring for runs from the SE to the mid-west.

    Premier Refrigerated Transport does not have any openings this time for Orlando; however, I did speak with a nice gentleman regarding employment. As a result of my status, I was told to call back once I’m done with the truck driving school.

    Also keep in mind emotion support animals are not protected under the ADA like service animals. Businesses are not required to allow them in or on their property, so it would still be up to the carrier if they want to allow the cat in the truck.
