If y’all know of the good eating places, post up. More interested in stuff toward food truck/eccentric than Michelin 5 Star.

This guy lives in Louisville and is always reviewing local good eats. That's a newer one he did that looks like good food. My buddy lives up there and has tried several of them says they're usually legit good. You'd probably have to catch an uber or lyft to most of them though, doubtful they have truck parking.

What kind of food are you wanting? Louisville has it all and it depends on how much or little you want to spend and what part of town you are staying in as to where I would recommend. Within a mile of the fairgrounds is an excellent breakfast/lunch place across the street from Churchill Downs called Waggners Pharmacy. If you have a big appetite try their omelette to start. BBQ, Pizza, Steak, Hot Chicken, Cuban and Mexican are a short drive from the Fairgrounds. For those people parking their rigs at the football stadium free parking there are several places a short walk towards the track.Last edited: Mar 26, 2023

We’re staying just east of the expo center, off 264. Spotted a Mexican place, right close, on Google maps.Vampire, Banker, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -

I’m doubtful I’ll be there but it would be a good time to check it out again. I might get a wild hair, never know. I’m lucky being only 2 hrs away. Hopefully they get good weather for the show trucks.
