It was rumored back in the 70's somebody that I knew (locally) was known to "pin the coax" of the CB clowns with super amps that messed with channel 19 or channel 1.
Pinning was taking a steel sewing pin stuck into the coax and cut off then pushed in further. it was nearly impossible to detect and could take out the final amp transistors.
