LEO was knocking on doors to the overflowing On Ramp. While I was there, he seemed to just be giving courtesy knocks but wasnt there after my pre trip to see what else transpired. Seems to be a No No for now on the overflow and in the Cars Only area which has been ignored for a spell.

Off ramp is quite unsafe. And illegal in many states. On ramp is much better idea since vehicles that could hit you are moving much slower
Gridaxe5588, Hammer166, CargoWahgo and 3 others Thank this. -
Washington DOT were messin with trucks outside Seattle 2 weeks ago where the TA is. Ragnar maybe. Blows my mind the #'s of folks who will line up on an off ramp, especially ramps with a truckstop close.
I understand out west isn't like the east, but i usually still find a quiet on ramp. If not, i'm parking at receivers/shippers.
Most of my parking is on on ramps, but in the middle of nowhere.JoeyJunk, Oxbow and silent_philosophy Thank this. -
I miss spoke/typed.
The trucks TO the Rest Area--off ramp?--are the trucks visited by LEO.

I'm afraid to go into the wv rest areas at night. A lot of them are like the ones in Pennsylvania. If people aren't parked just right, you'll get stuck.
gentleroger, silent_philosophy and Opus Thank this. -
