Ok so I am trying to come up with some things to change about the way I do things for next year. I know I need to take more care on my finances for sure. Five years in business and I am not really seeing any financial growth in my company. I took a good look at my financial records and realized why very quickly. I am using way too much of my business funds for personal wants and that stops now. If I would have kept my hands out of the jar I would have around 50k in liquid cash assets in my business if not more. Instead I have 11k which just keeps me a month ahead of my business expenses with around 3k in savings. It has been this way for several years. I didn't care before, but im now coming to the realization that things were not going the way I thought it would. Of course it is my fault.

This year it's time for me to get control of the financial side of my business. I have around 8k in credit card debt that will get paid off soon if all goes to plan. I want to have at least 20k in liquid cash available by this time next year. That is my goal for the year so wish me luck. Hope everyone had a good christmas.

You have been extremely lucky to say the least. Operating the way you have been, you are one breakdown away from going out of business. In my opinion, $50k is what you should always maintain in your business account. Aside from paying for repairs you have to be able to pay your bills while your truck is down.

So the first quarter of 2023 is done. It is pretty well known this time of year is the slow season and my p&l shows it. Between time off for the holidays, my birthday vacation, and bad weather the bottom line got hit pretty hard. At least I am not in the red.

Does anyone know if there is a way to post the p&l so it can be seen on the thread and not need to be downloaded?

A roughly $3300 per month draw?
You're renting a low paying job.

    Here we go again, Goldman.
Your sole purpose since joining this site is to spread sarcasm.
But the problem is that you showed nothing else but sarcasm.
You wish to accomplish nothing here but to offend other members here, don't Goldman?
