Seems like in most cases they only look good covered in a tight shirt and not out in the open freedom, because it takes a real artist to sculpt a nice pair. Most surgeons are hacks. Can’t hide the scars.

When it comes to the heavy work, it’s often well worth it to pay. The difficulty of the physical Labor itself is worth paying for.

Get one of those narrow Pick up boxes. TSC. Not too expensive. Pretty thin, but I’ve seen quite a few. They fit perfectly, about 48” wide. I was going to get one till I found a generator box on Craigslist. Using it as a tool box for now anyways.

I made it home today. Ran 1835 miles with the patched up radiator. New tank gaskets I ordered were delivered this morning. Fixing it tomorrow. Estimated 4 hrs. Labor time. Probably be 10 hrs. Lol. I want it fixed right. Pressure test it to make sure. The way it was leaking seemed hopeless. Still can’t believe I got it to stop, and made all appointments on time. Aluminum trailer patch would be ideal for a temporary fix. Big roll cost $45. I have a small piece somewhere. Maybe organize things a bit this weekend. Too much stuff under the bunk. No telling what I’ll find.

Last company I worked for. We might spend hours or weeks preparing brand new units to be placed in service and perform as we expected. In over 10 years I can only think of a handful of times we towed are own equipment. But two times was brand new Cats. I mean less than 1500 miles. Most won't believe what you will find on brand new trucks. Especially after body builders get thier meat beaters on them. Sometimes we elected to do are own repairs even under warranty. One reason speed, another was we liked to repair and fix the cause of the failure. Not just replace failed part and send it.
