Revisit progressive, with the right agent you wont get such a bad quote, and for hot shot exposure they are the third largest carrier in the nation...
To make sure you have unlimited mileage, place cargo with seperate carrier....
If i can help let me know!

GREAT to see you here!
OK ya'll.... You've heard me rant and rave about my insurance gal... the cat's out of the bag. I won't violate terms of service here by posting phone numbers and links, but if you're looking for an aggressive insurance agent that provides outstanding quick service, this is your gal and is surely worth a visit.
PM me for contact info.
(uncompensated endorsement! I don't get anything for referrals I send her way. It's how I can say "thanks" to her and in return I know the friends I've referred are getting top drawer service)HwyPilot Thanks this. -

OOIDA for me anyway was not the cheapest and i've heard there insurance company is not that good, i have Zurich America and for my 06 Pete and 00 ravens flat $1,000,000 liability $100,000 cargo and $65,000 on truck and $10,000 on trailer for phys dam it's $9,024, a year my 03 Pete and 01 utility van $35,000 on truck and $8,000 on trailer phys dam its $6,600 a year plus i have $1,000,000 non trucking liability, when i renewed my agent checked canal and progressive and they were both about the same as i have now plus progressive you can get a 6month policy.

According to my agent the rates are going down a bit as companies try to retain business. Said it has been tough on that side of the fence in the regard that a single o/o will reduce a policy to lease on to someone & a month or two later cancel everything.
I called several & all had about the same quotes 'til I found this guy, but keep looking as there are big differences in both premiums & what they are willing to cover. -

Gears Thanks this.
