Some trucks you can. I have the software to reset codes and do force Regens when needed. Saved me a tow bill due to dpf saying it was full with stop light on. Was able to reset the dpf to finish my load.

Well this one is being delivered now. It was from Mo to Ma and was a little heavier than posted at almost 16k. Did pretty good driving 70mph and speed limit everywhere and got 8.7 mpg’s.
taking a load to IL that supposed to be around 26k Then a load back home that is 35k I believe. Will see what those do.
Also got the quote back on the lift axle again. So now I need to decide if I really want to do it or not. -
That’s how high our factory ones lift.
RedForeman, Siinman, kemosabi49 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think then if it ruins any of the tires over time it will still be a gain since I will run the cheaper stuff on that axle. The tires I have on it now are cheap ones on both axles. I do not care for them much at all at this point with about 100K on them. Will most likely go put some new ones on the back and take the ones on that axle and put them up for the next pair on lift axle.
On the fuel MPG's so far I have drove about 600 Miles today and got 9.5 MPG's so far with this load. Over all so far for the trip I am at 8.9 MPG's. This is one of the few times recently I have not been in heavy wind or weather. Had a little wind at 5-7 MPH and ran into some rain today as well for 50 or so miles. Been running 65 to 67 most of today.gentleroger and ducnut Thank this. -
Well I am a couple mins from the drop off for in the morning. I may drive over there and sit for the night. I am at an Oasis on 294 about 40 miles north of Chicago Land. They have a 2 hour parking only and not sure if they inforce that or not. Gonna sit here and watch the draft for a little bit and see if anyone messes with me.
So this load was 26K on BOL but I think it is closer to 20K and it was from MA to IL. A little over 1K miles and I drove 65 all the way here. Managed to get 10.1 MPG's for this load. This is the best I have done so far on a trip by almost a full MPG. So far on the trip I am at 9.2 MPG's and have about 2400 or so miles for this trip so far. That first leg of the trip was at 70 MPH so this is looking pretty good. I did change my air filter before the trip or rather replaced the filter covers since it is a Fleet Air Filter.
This also is the second trip with the new Trailer Aero I had installed on it. This confirms to me it does make a difference on MPG's and more than I had thought it would. Best I had ever done before was 9.1 on a trip that was over 700 Miles. I think I would had beat that when going to MA on this trip if held to 65 to 67.gentleroger and ducnut Thank this. -

ducnut and gentleroger Thank this.

Tesla did a pretty in depth study on the disc covers for the wheels and they found it improved about 2%. This was for the cars and not the semi trucks. I looked but never found anything specific on their testing on the trucks. I think they are holding that info closer to their chest.
