Right now I am really wondering if I have been the only one selected for this pay decrease. Five months in and this is what I get.

WTF is this BS?!?!?
Seriously,has your employer lost their d a m n minds??
Something is seriously screwed up if they’re planning to DECREASE PAY!
I don’t even think Celadon did that before they went belly up!!
I actually did a double take looking at that!Speed_Drums, Crude Truckin', bzinger and 9 others Thank this. -
So I did a little Google-## and found that there are two pay structures at KamWay. One is with benefits the other is without benefits. For a starting driver with is $0.56cpm and without is $0.61 which coincides with your cutoff picture.
From your cutoff picture and following text I’m going to assume you get benefits and were properly told about the change and are now trolling.
As I am actively looking for a new company I am finding this pay structure more and more in the left three states. The politics have driven companies to shed costs and what better way is there than to pay the employees less while claiming you had a choice on more pay or medical for you and your family.
Be thankful you are not in Oregon. They now require everyone to pay 1% of their paychecks to the state to pay for their coworkers 12 week PAID maternity leave.Last edited: Apr 29, 2023

To receive .68 cpm, one has to choose no benefits.

I knew when companies started raising company driver pay through the roof during the pandemic, they would have to pay the piper down the road when rates normalized.azheavyduty, rokue, UturnGirl and 18 others Thank this. -
It’s absolutely legal, but sure wouldn’t make me feel very confident about the future viability of the company. Cutting pay is a panic move…

Saw multiple reports of trucking companies shutting down/not paying drivers etc recently, if there was a sign yours could be next this is it.JoeyJunk, xlsdraw, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
