So were down to the 4200+300 plus o/o that make up the real world. Thats in addition to the big 5. Still not near as many as I thought originally.
Why a strike? The CSA 2010 will cripple trucking.

England is not that big, compared to others, as you can see. They were farther down the list. The ones larger than this were not trucking companys for the most part.
Swift was the largest of the trucking ones and i went to that point.
I they use to not be larger than YRC and JB, but I am not sure if JB dedicated is in that JB number, and I do not know if all YRC companys are in there number. Since I know swift has had about that number for a while.
Going by this the 5 largest truckload are
Swift, Schneider, JB, Werner, Landstar.
I am not sure how many in the middle are truckload. Most seem not to be. And at least 5 or more truckload are larger than england. I closed the tab so I cannot look lol. -

ok, might of been a typo in the list given, said read mirror not rear mirror. Still dont get why you would need a restraint in the sleeper unless your a team
big wheels Thanks this. -
You can also get busted for a dirty cab, unmade bed, items that are on the bed that do not belong there.Just what I heard.
Maybe that's what it means.....
scottied67 and big wheels Thank this. -
So is the DOT gonna ground me for not making my bed or cleaning my room?scottied67, big wheels and rubbergearsnextyear Thank this. -
Well! I'm just learning. Just as all of us. I do check for myself on hear say. You never know what is true are not.
MCR is right on the bed making. And thangs not stored right in the cab and sleeper.
They might don't ground you. But They do have a ticket book. And remember were talking about D.O.T. These guys have done it before and they do again.
Ever had to bang on a light to get it to work for the DOT man. Hears your ticket. Just say'enmontana cowboy and MCR6468 Thank this. -
Thank you big wheels.........what I am reporting has come from a safety director of a company in MN. The DOT can say that the way you live in your truck, and the way you present yourselves to them in person is an INDICATION gentlemen and gentle women of what type of driver you are, really.Go mess with the DOT, and soon the teeth will be on your hiney like a rabid dog seeking blood.
A clean truck,a fresh looking and well dressed driver with neat writing on the logbook plus the other hoops one has to jump thru, will be an easier pass at the chicken coop.zentrucking, Rocks, JustSonny and 2 others Thank this. -

And some drivers think that what I post is baloney? Yeah, that's proof. Also last year they were hitting hard on the medical side. Trying to get rid of drivers with sleep apnea/or other sleep disorders, overweight to obese drivers, diabetics, heart problems......who isn't on the hit list?
In the end there will be automatons at the wheel, untill they find something wrong with them!big wheels, montana cowboy and JustSonny Thank this.
