I think my last one was $450 or so last summer. I’m guessing that’s the same windshield as my 579 so probably $500 or better now.

The last one I did was a little over $500 installed for a Paccar one. TRP was a little cheaper but they were on backorder.

What I have noticed is that they don’t chip as easily as flat ones. Between the slope back and the curve of the windshield they seem to deflect rocks better.

Looks like it might fit a Cascadia. I bet they got a tenth from that one change alone.

These photoshops are getting out of hand. I wonder how they’re going to spoof the videos of people driving them tomorrow.

Also, when they were revealing these the guy from Peterbilt said it’s replacing the 389.

The standup looks better than the flat top to me but it’s still too much windshield in my opinion.

Jubal Early Times and Oxbow Thank this.

I think the standup would look better without horns.

ducnut, KrumpledTed and Siinman Thank this.

Yep, no horns up top, a deeper drop visor and honestly probably axe the marker lights from the top and put some in the visor for a slicker look. I wouldn’t kick ‘er out of bed for eating oats then.

Long FLD and Siinman Thank this.

My thought as well. But no way I would want to own one of them myself. That MPG's would drive me up the wall but it should be used for something other than regular dry van or reefer freight.

    ducnut Thanks this.

Honestly a homerun from what I feared. I look forward to seeing it out in the wild. Did they say when the first models will arrive at dealerships?

    ducnut Thanks this.
