25 years ago I told dispatch that if they booked a load within 50 miles of zipcode 10036 they would have my 2 weeks resignation by fax with a registered letter to follow. 6 months later they did and I did.

Lady was sitting on that county road and as I was coming up to the intersection she whips out to make a u turn. I slammed on the brakes hit the horn and started heading to the opposite ditch trying to avoid her but she kept on coming.

Trooper said I was good and didn't give me any citations. Said what I told him is what it looked like on the tire marks, she tried to play it off that I hit her on the shoulder. With no damage to the rear of her vehicle.


Passenger front spring hanger sheered the bolts, cooler assembly is toast along with everything on the hood, axle made contact with the oil filter which busted the housing. Got it stopped and shut it down hopefully before any engine damage, which hopefully in itself didn't get any external damage to render it trash. She swung around and hit the sleeper right behind the stack. It could possibly be fixable depending on the state of the frame vs cost to fix it or cut my losses and buy it back for parts.

I myself am fine just sore and heartbroken. She claimed fine at first and then decided to go to the hospital. I'll go take a drug test in the am since no where is available to do one this late. Happened about 3pm and scene was cleaned up around 4:45

Hmmm, said she was on the shoulder and you hit her huh? Kinda sounds like a accidentally on purpose situation…?

 

Did find out that she claimed she blacked out and didn't remember alot.

Well guess what. I remember it all perfectly. I unfortunately hadn't gotten a dash cam yet

 

Blind man could pretty well figure it out simply by the skid marks alone! Glad you’re ok buddy, sure hate seeing these things…,
