We did a small BBQ sale Sat. Couple hundred pounds. The brisket was well received.
Took kid home and this is my current situation with grill going. Might mow lawn, might not.

), and same thing, great experience and learning new things, PLUS....a discount on the insurance for the Advanced Riders Course certification, so it was a win all the way around. Thought about getting Instructor certification, but as it's something you need to keep up on and do all the time, since I was driving OTR so much, I decided to just enjoy the bike rather than make it an income option. Mostly because they have a yearly riding requirement I believe to get and keep the certification and I couldn't make that kind of committment.

I don't know. Or I don't remember. We rode on roads as kids. Got in trouble some. But it was nothing at 14-16 to take dad's CB750k for a scoot. First thing I broke 125 mph on.
As for the senses and smells, your spot on to this day. Now later in life, I get more nervous. Especially 4 lane big hiway. But comparison to trucks is correct, and I'm less inclined to go for long hauls. I can't explain it. I'm getting weird with age. But wide open down a county road with header on bike and sun starting to set, is a great feeling. The best option on my scoot is a fuel gage. Dont even have a tach, just Rev limiter.CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -

Here's a question: how do you shift 1 down 5 up? I'm assuming you kick it down for first, then bump the lever up to shift into the higher gears? Do you just bump it back down to downshift and how do you find neutral again?

I've never actually driven a dirtbike or manual quad so I've got zero clue on how it all works.CAXPT, Feedman, Big Road Skateboard and 4 others Thank this. -
One down, four or five up will get you thru most. Single clutch pull, very tight. You can slam gears without clutch, it's faster, but will do damage. MX riders slam gears, street and recreational use clutch.
Now, I'm not old enough for a foot clutch and suicide shift. I can not advise on such matter.CAXPT, Feedman, Big Road Skateboard and 5 others Thank this. -
