    Far be it from me to try and tell you what to do with your clocks, but you may find it not a bad idea to leave the middle weight a bit lower than the other two when you wind it. That way, if for whatever reason you don’t get a chance to wind it again before it stops, the chimes will still remain synchronized.

    Thanks Mack. Good to know. I have been stopping the pendulum when I leave to visit KY for a week or so. Return and wait for the matching time it stopped, swing the pendulum and away it goes till next travel.
