The Aussie ones are not hard plastic, cheaply made in China mudflaps. They are heavy flaps but have the same flexibility as the good rubber CAT ones but are a composite material. The colors never faded on mine and honestly if I was picking between the two I'd take the Aussie ones, they're better flaps. They are pricey tho, shipping sucks.

They are all discontinued. I’m about sold out of Mine. Even the new triangle design, non existent anymore. I think I have 6 sets left and I’m being stingy with them now. And people laughed at me when I first advertised them. I wish I didn’t sell any. Raised letters, stamped matching cat part numbers. The knock offs seem to be a hit with most, I don’t care for them personally. In bad wind these have got to flying. I think I may double the next set up with a thin hard plastic flap and see if that helps. Connect them with the mudflap weight bolts. Sucks they discontinue the coolest things. I’d love a set of hood fender flaps with the same logo.

I looked into when I got mine. The guy didn't make any CAT ones because he couldn't get permission to do them. He did some nice looking Autocar, Ford and other old school flaps. Along with a bunch of nostalgic old time Australian trucking companies that mean nothing to me. The ones I got for my Detroit are molded raised letter. They don't flop in the wind like the rubber ones but they don't need brackets to hold them in place either. I wish I had kept my old original CAT Diesel Power flaps I got from Thompson's that were on my first trailer. They were different from yours PSM379. Never figured they'd be unobtainium.

Same goes for the knock off Peterbilt mud flaps
I wish I had done a better job of conserving all the ones I tore off in farm yards & ranch pastures -
