What’s the rule for alcohol? 6hrs? 8 hrs?

What would be different with cannabis having the same rule?

Four hours sober. And the reason for weed not having the same rules is there is no test that shows current weed intoxication. Every test is for previous usage.

It affects you for much longer than you are trying to acknowledge is different from it is detectable long after usage. Stop reading what you want into others statements.

In the spring of 1987 I bought a 1973 Kenworth, started driving and living a dream from my youth.

Prior to that in about 1983 I set on the deck lid of my uncles blue 1953 Cadillac and twisted up the first joint I’d ever touched. Turned out 1/2 the size of my finger and ugly as hell warmed over.

After about 15 minutes it was obvious I was to brain dead to even start a lawnmower let alone drive an automobile.

The song by Jim Stafford “the Wildwood weed” comes to mind.

I made the decision to never fool with weed again shortly after that, and I may drink a beer at home but never out on the road. Never been one that needed alcohol nor weed to be happy and functional like some….

I think that since he admitted to the one , we should do that old fashioned trick of making him smoke a whole back then drive a 600 shift to teach him a lesson.

What if there was a test that could determine current intoxication?

That’s what they said in the early 90’s when we traded our Chauffeur license away for a CDL. So far CDL has been a flop for the most part, just another $$ scheme with piss poor results….
