misery loves company. Every time I hear someone wanting to get into trucks I encourage them right after they tell me “their uncles are making bank.”

 

Yeah I was running weekends a couple of months ago and it was crazy how full the truckstops were on a late Friday and Saturday night. Could not find a spot! Used to everybody went home on weekends and you could get a good parking spot in any truckstop on the weekend. Not anymore. Not for a long while now.

 

I have always had the opposite happen to me. I normally would run weekends and always worried about parking because they would sit and do the 34 over the weekend.

 

Everyone has an Uncle who owns a Truck!! If you don’t, it’s you. Ask my 23 nieces and nephews. Lol.

 

Home? What’s that? My wife had a conversation with another Lady back around 2009. She was living in the Truck with her husband, having lost their house. Real eye opener for her at the time. Saw a lot of that back then. Expecting to see more of it again. Hopefully not.

 

There’s a lot of people driving truck right now that have no idea how bad it got back in 09 into 10.

 

How bad was it? I was out from 2007 through 2014.
