Those that can't drive a manual usually come to a complete stop and start over. 3 or 4 times. Specially on a upward takeoff.
ROFL
I know a tow driver that towed me back twice. Besides the occasional rookie you see on the streets. -
Never once have I had a manual do this.
-
I’ve never had my auto do that, but I also don’t have adaptive cruise and lane departure and all that.

They're picky if your dang foot isn't on the dang brake.
I got that message yesterday.
Had to shut the truck off for a couple minutes. -
This was my Monday this morning.
First load.
Truck is at KW now. I think it has something to do with the brakes as the lights go out when the pedal was applied. And came back on after release.Attached Files:

I miss the days when you were bobtailing or empty in a manual and you could start it out in 3rd or 4th gear, skip a gear the few shifts and be up to highway speed in no time. These automatics are slower than #### but they are nice in stop and go traffic.

Pfft
Mine can't decide which gear to use in stop and go traffic
It shifts more then a stick -
It isn't a problem with automated manuals mechanically, it is the programming choices by the manufacturer/owner.
Obviously true autos like Allison transmissions are different also.
Just as creep functions are a programming choice, so is automated upshifts before redline.Siinman Thanks this. -
But, but, everyone is saying they're great in traffic right...
