If you refer back to the comment you quoted, and read it thoroughly, you’ll note I’ve not mentioned abuse. I said it was not my first blame. When the clutch pedal and gear lever are completely gone from the cab, you should be looking at components, work application and programming. A one off clutch issue in a single truck in a small fleet has an equal chance to be any of those along with driver abuse. But if it’s two same or similar trucks with different drivers, it leans way heavier to the trucks than it does the drivers.

    Cat sdp Thanks this.

    Here's this week's update.

    June 10, 2023
    389 Peterbilt - 112.........8 389X's
    579 Peterbilt - 155
    T680 KW - 384
    W9 KW - 89
    Cascadia - 53
    Volvo Family - 75
    Mack - 53
    International - 69

An increase of 48 from the previous week and over 125% since I started tracking. I've seen multiple people and dealers on Facebook saying make an offer so I don't think any inventory is moving and there's grass growing underneath some of the units.

And some more repos. By their asking price I think they might be sitting on that for a while.

Well they can ride the fuel pedal when stopped and mess them up. That is about the only thing that will cause issues on them for a driver. Untrained driver is no different in a manual.

Sitting at KW in Albert Lea. I thought it looked neat with the old JB Hunt colors.

Hell of a memory. I’d completely forgotten their IH buses had orange frames. Incomprehensible, today.

Add Ford trucks to that list. Overpriced sexy junk and the idiots can't wait to buy them.
