Yup. Trucks are constantly breaking down and the shops don't really fix them up. You work for Central?

If things are really that bad over at Central Transport--then you are easily better off over at Schneider.
Schneider has a pretty-good sized operation going in the Dallas-Ft Worth area.
If your experience (thus far) is what I think it is--you would qualify for one of their intermodal positions ("where the rubber meets the rail"); depending on the situation at an intermodal terminal, you could get a job where you're home either weekly--or even daily. You might check them out, & talk to a recruiter about what's available in DFW:
Regional Intermodal truck driver | Top drivers earn up to $74,000 | Schneider (schneiderjobs.com)
If you can get in on a good railyard that actually has its act together--then working with the rail can be quite a good gig.
Be careful with Roehl...apparently, life over there is hardly anything close to perfect, either:

At .78-.82 cpm plus live load drop and hook pay doesn't sound that bad. It's miles better than Central so far....Opus Thanks this. -
Orientation? With which carrier?

This is nothing compared to what I have seen. Lol

FYI: I don't EVER remember pulling (or being asked to pull) a Schneider van (or intermodal container) that looked anywhere near that rough (as the above pics).
