Yeah.. As far as I know.. Standard trannies... Unless you get an old l/o or recover one with a apu.. None of those.. The only thing that makes life easier is an icon... But 3/4 of those don't work right, so they'll try to charge you for over idle... Unless you can hook up an inveter yourself... Or yet again.. Get a old l/o with one in it.. No..jesse will tell you from otr that he doesn't like inveters.. Their to hard on the chargein system...
So.. Pretty much.. No making life better, on our trucks at least..

Oh man.. I found a fun place to come play!!! Over here at champaign, il at kraft.. I drop here once in a while.. Kinda difficult in the W9.. But I got to come live load...
Man there were primes out the wazoo.. Took me about 15 minutes to move about 20 doors.. Between primes backing up and very very rude yard dogs.... Gah... Anyways.. I'm doing my backing.. And next thing I know.. I hear horns and stuff from prime in the door next to me..
Man.. I think I hit someone.. Well I get back there.. And my dot bumper is about 5 or 6 foot from this ladys truck.. Seein as how she's a foreigner.. All she could tell me is.. "Too close" "try again".... Hahahaha... So I pulled up and got closer to the truck on the left of me. That way I wasn't to close to her minature truckie there... Lol...
But over all.. It was. Good lesson for me.. Small space to back and big truck.. I had to just do it.. Couldn't find another spot.. So I'm happy with myself.. One more small space down!! Boo yah.. -

Ahhh.. That would be cheating sir... And with csa2010 comming comming along.. If you were to get in a accident or get dot'ed.. That would throw you safety rating down and bring the companies down as well.. I have no suggestion other than just loggin it.. If you out of hours.. Then I guess your sol my friend.. Hope things work out for you.
heavylifter Thanks this. -
Tsk tsk tsk... Don't ya remember those videos... Log it as you do it. Were you lucky enough to at least manage an 8 so you could split. Even if you had a few minutes left, you can bet a pretty penny that you'll be at the shipper for 2 hours. Or you can call shipper/rcvr and resched or be ontime and be in violation and pray for the next 8 days you don't get inspected.
Good luck in whatever path you choose in this type of situation.
Remember the 6 P's and utilize your mac's.
Or you can use the other answer... "sure ya can, drivers do it all the time".heavylifter Thanks this. -
Ohh I got my ten hours in the sleeper! Not worried about violation just curious of other drivers tricks and experience with squeezing hours to drive. And no the qualcom did not log me into line 3 on that short stretch.
-
You have 5 minutes before it will log u on line 3 drive 4 1/2 minutes and stop for 5 mins.

Got a few questions.. Anyone know what the requirements are for the flat beds here at central.. Are they just a weekend thing or full time? Also.. Anyone ever taken their weeks paid vacation or is that just a mystical thing to get you up to a year and then they axe ya right before ya take it...
Also.. How long do you need to stay out as a l/o before you can come home? Let's make believe I was a l/o and wanted to be home 4 days a month.. Is that realistic or would it be 2 days every seven to eight weeks?
