This seems like it’s OTR though, isn’t it? I would prefer doing dedicated or regional, therefore I can at least have weekends off or 1-day off a week.
Despite everything I just said, my main priority right now is MONEY!!!

I’ll do OTR, dry van, reefer, whatever need be depending on the pay. The last thing I want to do is go to either California and/or New York, but like I said I am really in it for the money at this point. I want to make the most as possible this year and establish a good relationship with a good company.

Do you know how much they pay?

OTR has been so weak lately with so many companies. They’ll promise you 60-80cpm but you end up waiting several days between loads which you only end up making $300-700 a week at most. That’s the problem with Swift OTR, it’s a scam, they’ll pay you 0.60cpm for a long, juicy load but then you wait 2-3 days for another load.

I currently haul food in a reefer. I’ll consider anything that’s willing to pay us at least $1000-1300 a week. Ideally I’m looking for $1375-1500. After all, it’s teams.

Florida Beauty, you have to return every week for your next load. The triangle run will take longer. I got this information from drivers that work there. I don't have their contact information.

Siinman, Metsuri and BennysPennys Thank this.

Florida Beauty pays more than just CPM. Lot of accessorial pays because of multiple stops between Miami and California. Touch freight unloading flowers is fast paced but easy work. Paid for every stop.
The pay you want is about what the other drivers said they are making.

I’m gonna give those companies a call myself and ask them how much they pay and if the miles are consistent. I’m interested! Like I said, I’ll go where the money is.

Can’t thank you enough for all your help. You always come in clutch!

But the thing is... living in southern Florida and trying to get home. There isn't much down there.
Back when I was OTR I had only a few loads going down there, and it was always hard getting something back out.

31 cpm sounds low, but is that for all miles driven by the team paid to both drivers?
If so, it would be 62 cpm for each driver for the miles they run individually. (If they each run the same miles per week.)

And I don't know where Metsuri comes up with waiting 2-3 days between loads.

As to who to talk to about something different/better, the first would be his driver leader.
If they are no help go up to the fleet manager, then the terminal manager.

Going straight OTR or regional might be better than the dedicated gig the OP is on now.
But if home time is a main factor, some of the suggestions from Chinatown might be better still.
