Stay away from FFE FROZEN FOOD EXPRESS

I don’t know where to begin but it’s all bad all the way around . They skip seat meaning they won’t even inform you someone is using your truck so if u have a sleeper someone would be in your truck while your things are in there . The mechanic shop is horrible all they do is waste time to milk the clock just so they can say they don’t have time to Service your truck . I’ve been waiting days just for them to drain the power steering fluid and flush it out which literally is a couple hours not days . They haven’t even started . I’ve caught them using the shop for their personal needs let alone , one of the mechanics would rather play with his toy race car collection which I will upload so you can see for your self . One was doing detailing for a car . Caught him doing it with the garage he door half way up . I went under the garage door to get windshield wiper fluid which they didn’t have, so I had buy some out of pocket which has happened several times . As I was asking the lazy mechanic he seemed nervous that I caught him doing other work that wasn’t work . The equipment always has issues and most the times drivers don’t do full inspections for trailers so if you need to find a trailer most likely you will not go anywhere because it has issues that hasn’t been reported or repaired properly. The management sucks they expect you to get a load to locations on time and schedule your cut time and appointment time in a time frame that doesn’t factor in you looking for trailer , pre Tripping And God forbid you need to fuel or run into traffic delays etc . I been here almost a year and they show favoritism to whom they want concerning loads taken to locations at certain times that are convenient for the drivers they like . There are a free new drivers that received new trucks and I still have a old dusty truck that was given to me the first day wouldn’t start up . What a way to welcome a new driver . No one thinks to check on trucks etc to make sure it’s running and safe for you . You will find your self doing way more than just being a driver , it’s like you have to do their jobs as well . Many times I had to call customers up before delivery being that my appointment time given wasn’t enough time for me to get there . So you will find your self either getting rejected unless you decided to speed on the high way to make it which is risking your cdl for scrap pay . Also speaking of pay you have to keep on top that ad well being they like to leave out reimbursements for a lumper or just time you have clocked in . I can write a book about this horrible company . After about 4-5 months I pretty much understood this wasn’t where I wanted to be . I’m just staying to push for a year so I can find something better . The only thing that I can say is benefiting me is me having time to complete my year . I would say time on the road but like today I have been sitting for two days no work due to the fact these lazy mechanics don’t want to do their job . I’m seeing 600-700 a week because of how this company operates . Claiming mondays I have to have off as well because they are giving the work to those who have “ seniority “ which is a lie . I’ve spoken to driver that’s been here for 5 -10 years only seeing 28 a hour which is the cap . And if your Otr expect 40 cents a mile , and pray your wheels are moving which most times it’s not . If any one knows of a REAL company that cares about their drivers has latest equipment, good mechanics and are transparent with what they say to you and not tell you lies that sound true with pay that you can live off of and save a bit , PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW .

 

You don’t get it … I was showing the pictures of the mechanics play room in the shop buddy . His toy cars are more of a concern than doing his job .
