Heres a better picture. Showing the backside of main hose closest to the valve cover for reference.

Can say ive never been so happy to see coolant dripping underneath the truck .jesus man lol what a relief .

I can't tell so well from pic. Hose looks swelled up. Check to make sure that hose clamp is for silicon hose. Looks like standard worm clamp. Should have a inner shield to protect hose from the wholes in the clamp. If a regular open rubber hose clamp was used, it tears the silicon and makes junk of hose. Hope that makes sense.
But sounds like you found your problem. Good job tracking it down. -

Well they make 100 different types. They have worm type with a liner, shield, sorry for not the best description. I would get constant torque clamps. Let me go find a picture.CAXPT, Big Road Skateboard, cke and 4 others Thank this. -
Sorry, I don't have more technical explanation. Top is still worm gear. But you see how hose would be protected from clamp? Pretty much anything similar will work. Doesn't matter on rubber as much. -

Np. Idk about hose in real life, maybe other Pete owners can confirm if it's shaped like that. Or swelled. I'm only looking at pics. But looks swelled. But sounds like you should have this handled.dwells40, CAXPT, Big Road Skateboard and 4 others Thank this. -
small 2in round hole style. Mostly Alcoa, but there an Accuride or 2 mixed in on the drives..
I'm 1700 at 70mph, but tend to hang around 1600 at 66mph just stepping out to 70mph to get around someone slower than I.. lol
This is for the entire 2nd quarter so far. Tends to read ~.15mpg on the high side, so call it 7.39mpg. I'll know for certain in a few weeks after I file IFTA. But so far that's been my results.. Worst qtr ever was qtr 1, 2022 @6.63mpg..
