Don't know if its just me but from my experience silicone heater hose is absolute dog####. Seems like I can never get it to seal. Never have a problem with regular heater hose.

Got my truck apart. Clutch spring gave out and is worn down heavily. I see prices of clutches have gone up $250 since last time.Last edited: Jun 14, 2023

There is about 400' of it my yard between 6 units.
Have to use the correct clamps, and ensure no brrs... sometimes what happens is the inner layer gets ate into on the nipple, the coolant then seeps out between the inner and outer layers. If it was regular hose it would have been a major leak.
I tighten the clamps, run to operating temp, and retighten the clamps. Sometimes get the odd coold weather seep @-30. Quick snug fixes that.
When the tinworm takes these wagons back to earth, there will be blue silicone hose all over the place.
