Been a while... perhaps the most lucrative job I think I'll ever have. YTD for 2023 should be just a hair under $80k by the end of this month.

    Shibe is a Linde driver

I'm one of the Garfield LAR teams. Not a bad job. 6 on 2 off, really great teammate. Don't have to deal with office drama because we're hardly around.

Pete's long gone. New manager is a former Logistics manager named Kevin.

    Ha..
I think he learned some important lessons out there.
He is our driver manager for last 3 yrs.

Turns out when you've been a truck driver longer than he's been alive and let him know it he mellows out..lol

Rugerfan, dwells40, scythe08 and 2 others Thank this.

We have been staying busy. Working 10-14 hours still. But I think it’s because we have the same customers that we do over and over. It also helps out that we’ve been having plants at customers go down so they’ve been needing product hauled to them.

scythe08, lual and Dennixx Thank this.

So I finished 2 weeks at Linde. First week was a bunch of death by powerpoint days ending with a 13.5 hour trip up to Vancouver for 2 stops but 3 tanks. This past week was lots of observation with the second half of the last day being more hands on. Ended this week with 59 hours, definitely an improvement over what I was getting with FXG. Overall I think the work is interesting and I intend to stick with it.
