No particular preference whether it's OTR, Local, Regional, etc as long as the company is, hopefully, trustworthy. Hopefully it's a reputable company as I'm willing to stay in for extended period of time.

Reasonable pay based on market for new grads and, hopefully, reasonable treatments for new grads.

Home time hopefully once a week, little less little more is all okay depends on types.

No contract.

No extremely long training program with, for example, $500 take home pay per week for 7 weeks.

Note: If possible, please explain to me, as much as possible, how difficult or how different it is with Flatbed vs dry van vs reefers vs tankers. The reason I ask this question is because it seems like there's lot more flatbed companies willing to hire newbies and willing to pay slightly higher than dry vans. There seems to be more of a shortage of flatbeds vs dry vans.

 

Thank you, also do you have any personal recommendations (if those above weren't your personal recommendations) for new drivers? Because after talking to some recruiters, I really feel like there're some big "margin of scams." What I mean is, recruiters will try to talk me into their company and it's very likely that the expectation is (completely, partial, mostly) different from reality, and assuming they're not lying because no written statements.
