Do to bad communication with this new dispatcher company felt like I was turning down loads which was not the case, but was being slightly lazy.
Anyways got hired on at J r schugel will start Tuesday. Apparently Im on midwest dry van and supposedly it's a new division to them, so this might be interesting.
I don't know I'm really hoping this move works, I mean I look and look and look for jobs but nothing really jumps out and says pick me.

All OTR trucking jobs are pretty much the same. J.R. Schugel looks like they got it going on, good luck with them.

In your post, was it the dispatcher who was being lazy? Clarification needed.

I recently left the North Dakota oil fields, due to lackluster pay, to get back into OTR. I applied at probably 30 different companies and only had maybe 5 show me any meaningful interest. Only two companies made me offers and one of the two blew me off for two days and I just felt like they were jerking me around so I went with the other company because frankly they made a very good impression on me when I interviewed with them, even though their compensation package was much less and they did not offer exactly what I wanted to do for work which is what attracted me to the other company that offered me a job.

I just think it's interesting that there are literally thousands of jobs for Class A CDL drivers posted online in my local area but it seems like many of these companies just don't have their stuff together when it comes to actually getting people hired on in a professional manner.

That's part of the problem too there many jobs out there but if you research them too they neither have a bad rap or can't hire ya. I'm tired of jumping around I'm really hoping this one works

When their ad says "We're always hiring !" run away. Run away fast.

Trucking is one of those things a driver has to make work. They're pretty much the same. I know for me, as long as they can keep me busy and run adequate equipment, that will work. No company is perfect, as you will need a bull #### tolerance, and many of them will just be good enough to make a check.

Yeah that's what I say, it needs to work. I'm really not a picky person, can be lazy but I was happy at Q carriers till they decided to close the doors, which what happened after he closed I can't blame him for going that route.
Hoping JR has a couple nice customers to deal with that work for me and I'll be happy
