The Truckers’ Report flatbed Hall of Shame.

Lol! I wasn’t going to call them out, but no they didn’t have their #### together. Of the 4 that were here we had this guy and another one had a trailer wheel that was streaked up. I didn’t inspect the other two. They tightened up the eight remaining lugs and hauled ###.

 

Yikes. My balls aren’t big enough to drive that down the highway.

 

I wouldn't trust the remaining 8 either now. Guess it's ok though, the tractor has an extra axle.

 

Does it have an extra steer axle?

 

It's got 2 steer tires. Probably good enough.

 

When the front one falls off, the next one in line just takes the job all automatic like.

 

Looks like the foolish penny-pinching of the railroad is rubbing off on them.

 

I didn't get a pic, unfortunately, but saw I guy last week with 4 of these Jersey barrier points, scattered down his trailer, each sitting unsecured on a pallet, and 1 strap on each of them. I was frankly amazed the straps had managed to stay on them, given the condition of Colorado's roads.

 

I have seen guys both locally and around Boston with concrete barriers double stacked on a lowboy with only gravity securement

 

Not sure why guys loads these like this….
