The problem is that leasing in general is a bad idea, but people don't realize it. You're renting the vehicle, not actually buying it in most cases.

if you got the load moved up, you're lucky. Most of the WalMart loads I've encountered could not be changed, and in some cases, it caused delivery to be pushed further out.

Why will your attorney find the photos interesting? When you signed the lease, you (well, JJ, but you by relationship) agreed that if you refused a load, you couldbe subjected to a penalty wait. Granted, if you're in the shop, or some other accepted reason, they shouldn't iimpose the penalty, but "too much deadhead" is not a reasonable excuse to them.

I wish you luck in your suit, but remember that Central has a lot of money to throw at lawyers, and once they get wind of your attorney planning anything, they will stall until you can't afford it. That's why people aren't winning against Central, it's a war of attrition.

Have been thinking about Central as a starter company. They seem to have the most straight forward schooling set up. Would not be looking at leasing at all. Does Central run much freight through the Portland, OR area?

Ok as a Lease Op you can refuse a load, I have the contract in front of me and there is nothing about a penalty for refusing a load.:biggrin_25511:
As a Lease Op there is NO forced dispatch and if there is you are NOT an Independant Contractor you would be an Employee.

They can have all the money in the world and stall as long as they want, THEY breached the contract with JJ first so if they want to argue then fine, but its not just JJ anymore there are a few other lease guys who have my number and they are also willing to sue for Breach of Contract.

The reason no one takes on Central is because they hear about Centrals huge team of Lawyers and how they will run out of money before they can even get to court.

The ones who do take on Central are paid a nice Lump sum to shut the hell up with a confidentiality clause.

We may lose against Central who knows BUT at least we tried and didn't just lay there and take the BS!!

I personally am not thinking central is going to be fantastic. I'm expecting it to be a job. A source of income. I understand that people in the Riverside class will be staying at the econo lodge the hole 2 weeks. 2 or more to a room. I will post if anything is lie. ill youtube the hotel room for you guys it seems to be important for some reason?

The Econo-Lodge is two to a room. Standard room with two queen size beds. No guests, no alcohol, fridge in room.

Hay heavylifter I just saw ur post about being at central on the 8th. We should hang out during breaks and maybe after the classes. If u know the area maybe we could grab a bite to eat.

I hate the 50 post pm rule.

    Hi RedNif:

Only 12 Hours on the bus? I'm coming from Louisiana and it is a whopping 1 Day 13 hrs. on the bus to Salt Lake.

It would be nice to know how the accomodations are in the Motel, since the idea of living in a small motel room with 3 other guys, raises some RED FLAGS!

Good Luck to you and try to post some stuff, if you have time. I know you will be busy.

    Take Care,

    JST
