Yea, that would be a centerfire. I've only seen a couple of guys use them. In Northern Nevada.

You get over to the Ho, we’ll help out with the therapy—you’ll need to get you a nice shotgun and good set of golf clubs for a successful recovery— might be a good idea to look into a couple of Deckers if you don’t have them already

Strange... Happened to me once, this sun setting in the wrong place...
Loaded tired in WI; ran like hell for the ship channel in Houston, to boat them on to Venezuela. Tooled out east on 90 to
Beaumont and that second staying awake caught up with me. So I pull off in front of a closed place with a big open graveled front. Gonna sleep a few hours and move on, eat and make it on to 61 and north home...
About 3 PM and I am facing east, sun behind me and trailer is shading rear of tractor. Made up my furniture pad across split seats and to nap. Must have roused and turned while asleep or would have been paralyzed from that position that long.
Woke up so refreshed, looked at my watch and it is say 6 o'clock. Oh well, slept longer than intended, cranked, got up air an wondered about this sun still not gone down, still pretty high.
Decided I must have almost ran by my parking place and swooped turning in backwards, so I need to go the other way...
I pull out and head the other way. Don't get too far till there is the sign, some car dealer in Beaumont, TX , 3 miles...
Pull over and reconsider. I am turned around, the sun I see is coming up, not failing to set.
I have slept about 15 hours, in an IH195 day cab, over splits seats, on a folded furniture pad, with my bag and hotshot box filling the space between. Not unusual, but just to sleep that long...

However it goes without saying, horse women for the most part are good looking, very fit and have pretty long hair and legs. And they age really well deep into their 60s and early 70s.

I have two nice Deckers made by B-B. Well, I used to have them. Evidently junior has decided that he'll take some inheritance early. Along with the wall tent.

That’s a handy little piece of information to have with 3 elk tags to fill come October— might even have to let the youngsters win a hole tomorrow— or maybe just let them think they’re going to win a hole

Ah, makes sense. We the Plantation masses rode on the Lazy Boy dehorned saddles. Only one girth (that's the way we say it and spell it). In later year's some Texans slipped in and bought some land. Had to go back and get some more cows as grass was getting higher than the cows. Was able to see some of them in action. Roping horses and saddles as you describe. Saw
one tie off around under the horn and wondered why. Lots to learn about leather.
