Taking another swing at it

All this just to get a kidney and get off dialysis. When I started 5 years ago, I had a couple people entertain the idea of being a living donor, they opted out as the reality got closer that they’d actually have to do it. It freaked them out and I was left with waiting to get on “the list”.
One of my twin girls just said she’d be willing. She was only 14 when this started, now she’s 19. So maybe I’ll get that living donor after all. We will see. I still have a couple small hurdles to jump, but I think the most difficult part might be behind me.

 

Can’t lift anything over 10 lbs. have not practiced in a month

 

No. Just the person getting the kidney to help against the body rejecting it. The done has a healthy kidney and moves on with life as normal.
