Hello, I got my cdl 2 years ago and I was trained on an automatic. I really want to learn stick to open up more job opportunities. 2 questions please:
Where to get trained on stick?
Do you need it on your cdl as an endorsement? ( do I need to go to dmv?) Thanks

I'm assuming you have the automatic restriction on your CDL? Testing with a manual will simply remove that restriction. So if you do not have the auto restriction, then you don't have to do anything to your license.

Some CDL schools may rent you a truck to learn shifting & for the test. Google CDL School, your town, manual transmission.
