I like them since they kill bugs. Random that it was in my bedroom. The water table is near the surface where I live. Plus if you have frogs than the water isn't that polluted. The frogs are on the edge of the woods and my grass. When I mow I see bigger ones on the wood grass edge. This one was larger than my thumb, by a little.

If @Cattleman84 was just looking to cool the house I could see him doing something more like this. Worked real well for cousin that built a place at about the 2k ft level of the sierras. Used a hundred or so feet of 2 foot culvert buried down a couple of feet, as a fresh air intake. Air coming in was cool in the summer and less cold than outside in the winter.
