Heck yesterday my mom calls. The sump pump wasn’t pumping and the basement is starting to flood. Well, not exactly. She exaggerates something awful. I passed her house 10 minutes earlier. My sister lives with her but was out of town. So I turn around and head to my parking spot. Thankfully this is all close by.
I drive my pickup over. The pump is running but lost prime. Flapper shut so there was water in the pipe above. I get drenched by that. Got rust covered from the pump body. I take pump to laundry tub to figure things out. It catches prime and drenched me again.
Got her squared away and had to go to my house to change clothes. Conveniently dinner was ready so that was nice.Siinman, Feedman, 86mechanic and 10 others Thank this. -
Usually had the mic up so the people behind the counter knew it would be o.k. to talk at me.
If I felt the need to talk I would just step out of line.austinmike, Feedman, 86mechanic and 8 others Thank this.
