You should grieve that time, UNION BOY.

It’s the brown shorts isn’t it? I’m always happy wearing shorts and black socks too.

It's a pretty huge perk, if I'm honest.

As you know, we differ on unions. But I will say, I have never seen a sloppy ups driver. I don’t think it has to do with the union so much as it’s a better quality company and driver.

    UPS is a complete package.

I'll be honest? During the Hoffa years, I had VERY little union pride. I was much, much more proud of working at UPS. So historically speaking, this pro-union stuff is out of character for me.

I really (maybe naively) think Sean O'Brien is going to make some positive change. Time will tell.

I hope he does. I certainly see some benefits to being in a union and probably would consider a union job if I wasn’t self employed. But I have worked for almost two decades to build what I have and can never see me trading it to be an employee. Even if being an employee is sometimes more lucrative.

I do know fear of the union has kept wages high for all LTL carriers. Which is a good thing

I thought I was the only one crying most of the day but this horrid life with absolutely nothing to look forward to makes me miserable. I can’t do anything about the “OLD LAZY BITTER” thing except an hour on the elliptical coupled with an hour and half or so a day of physical activity while loading and unloading at work. The hopelessness drove me to have a couple cold ones afterwards. 989D1EF3-C461-43EE-8AE6-B50671BC9515.jpeg C3CE7463-A2E4-4F27-85F7-6578ABB50A46.jpeg
