Just one pic again today (darn you Dave)
Only managed 1 load, 73’ beams

 

What are these for. That’s a bit of length on them. Just curious, they crane load and unload?

 

A bridge (or a series of bridges) somewhere…I’m not sure, although I might be delivering some of it after fabrication. All 36” beams ranging from 53’ to 96’
All loaded with a forklift, their machines are good for 25 ton

 

Wobble much putting that on. That’s a lot of span for a forklift.

 

The weirdest thing happened today. I was at this hole in the wall jobsite and all the sudden this helicopter showed up, circled around me a few times and then landed in the grass next-door. Then two dudes jumped out and walked over to the subway and got lunch, then came back out and flew away.

 

No they’re pretty good handling them. I’ve loaded long spans of plate there and that’s a different story, requires 2 machines…what a pita

So, none of my business, was that worth hauling ?? I’ve heard rates on that stuff are less than desirable.

 

Even split the load. I’m impressed. All about the ride.

 

Pretty bad for sure. Hardly worth it. But it is the only work out there right now..
