This is a big red flag, corporate speak for "you better not have a life outside work or ever want to take time off, and we might send a condolences card to your family when you work yourself into an early grave, with the bill to return your stuff" Walmart can burn.
Why did Walmart lower their requirements for hiring drivers?

WalMart plays one against the other, to their benefit. They tell the contractors..."Ask for too much and we'll kick you out. We can run all company trucks." Then they turn around and tell the company drivers the same thing..."If you guys get too greedy we'll dump the company trucks and start using contractors."
You guys that haven't been around very long might not have seen this ploy but it's a game as old as trucking itself. Whoever holds the whip hand, in this case it's WalMart, makes the rules.
